Amanda Shoemaker, PA-C Physician Assistant
Amanda Shoemaker graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018. She moved to Jacksonville and graduated with Honors from Nova Southeastern University with her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Florida Academy of PAs.
While Amanda has always had a passion for orthopedics, she started her PA career working in psychiatry. Before joining Orthopedic Specialists of Jacksonville, Amanda worked in interventional pain management where she treated patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. The majority of the conditions she managed were related to neck and back pain. Amanda is very excited to be working with Dr. Kambach in both the conservative and surgical treatment of spinal conditions.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys cheering on the football teams of her alma mater and her hometown, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Kansas City Chiefs. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and reading a good book.
