I had total knee replacement in Sept. at Baptist South, preformed by Dr.Phillip Bell. In hearing friends and family that have had this procedure, I was semi aware of what to expect. I was sent home after staying overnight with all my meds(pain) and to this day(6 weeks later) I can say I have never had any pain. My healing is going great, and the scar is small and healing to were some areas are disappearing. I have seen some scars a year later and they are still scary. I can't say enough about Dr.Bell and his staff....They never make you feel like you are bothering them w/questions, and I would highly recommend Dr. Bell

Dr Bell was very professional and went above and beyond to help my mother get her hip surgery a few months back. He really cares about the well being of his patients. I would highly recommend and will be using him myself for my knee surgery.

When it was time to have a knee replacement, I decided to look for the youngest, most educated in the new techniques in the industry. in the Jacksonville area. All the reviews were great. In 2019 Dr. Bell performed hip replacement surgery on me on my birthday! We joked a lot about it that day and I will say it was one of the best bd gifts I've ever received. The surgery went very well with minimum down time and excellent results. Now in 2021 I have been experiencing discomfort in the other hip and made an appointment to discuss my options for that. I will totally agree with other reviewers about the efficiency of the office. Pre-registering online at my convenience saved time at the visit and I was barely settled in a seat when I was called in. Dr. Bell is very knowledgeable and so personable! I am glad he is working here in my area! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bell was so caring and so delightful as well as his staff. He confirmed with me that using the robotic surgeon was not the way to go and that was by far the best decision I made. Dr.Phillip Bell is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon with JOI. He completed a total knee replacement on me in June 2021. He is very personable and thoroughly answers any questions and explains the procedure well. My surgery was a success and I would recommend Dr. Bell for any orthopedic surgery.

Dr.Bell has done knee replacement for my mom she is 74 years old and thank God we got to this excellent doctor and his staff. We wish there were more doctors like him.
